The Convault Aboveground Fuel Storage Tank is considered a shop-fabricated tank.

The only tank in production that is concrete-encased with a UL 752 level 8 listing. 

We also carry the UL 2085 as well as the UL 142 listing.

We have been manufacturing this tank since 1986 with over 30,000 in the field.

We begin with a UL142 steel inner tank and attach a styrofoam covering to create an annular space for the 30 mil Poly secondary containment. Next we place in our form a rebar cage and encapsulate the entire steel, poly and rebar in 6” of monolithically poured concrete.  The concrete is sealed and painted with a Thorocoat paint system.  Our concrete has a minimum break strength of 4000 psi in 28 days.
